The Pilot Powers are fantastic street tires, but maybe not sticky enough for an aggressive rider on a track day.
Making blanket statements about tires from X or Y manufacturer can be a mistake, though, since tire technology and characteristics change rapidly.

nothing wrong with them, i just dont like the way they feel

I guess it depends on the def of "agressive". The Freddie Spencer and Yamaha Champions school's used them on all their bikes, cbr600's & 1k's, r6's, fz1's, and r1's.

+1, PP's used to be 'the' tire for us street squids.
i normally run DOT race tires... dragons or n-techs but never anything harder than say a corsa SC2.
that being said, i spooned a pair of PP's last fall ( for winter / spring riding )and probably put no more than 300 miles on them before i took them off & sold them.
i'm spoiled i guess, once you run a truely sticky tire a street tire just
won't have the feedback and feels very vague. it's a big leap from a track
to a street tire, jay you may feel the same way ?, so for a general street tire
this is a damn good deal.

DOT's are amazing, but require a bit larger tire budget due to wear. Take Offs are cheap, but then they have usually been cycled to death. Also, the part you want to stick is the part that's been hammered.

i just bought some bt016's from a local place for 320 cdn. i thought that was a good deal as i saw them going for 480 at the bike show. my buddy used petes superbike and had a set shipped for 285 cdn. just thought id plug petes superbike a little

I don't agree the tire is slippy. When it's cold - it can be an embarrasment in front of a county deputy. Yup. Almost laid her down.
Ten minutes on this tire to get it working makes a world of difference. Problem with our tires is they get heat-cycled but not big miles. Sometimes just having tread is not the best situation for the bike.
I would definitely buy the PP for the next round - just respect their warm-up time. The Diablo Corsa did not perform well at 46f. Neither did the VFR. It was like driving a brick.
