Maintenance Day...

Me & a few friends got together to work on bikes this weekend.

superchickencornermonster was the head wrench and the guy lovin' the well earned Maker's Mark. If you're in the DC metro area, he's the guy to see (Brooks' Cycle Centre).

Rain Delay.

Mechanic working under tarp.

Who's the dumbass that dropped the shim?!

This looks scary.

Shim UNDER bucket.

I think I know where all this stuff goes now.

The good kind of performance award.

I hope the Maker's Mark was to celebrate all bikes running well after the maintenance. That was some heavy duty maintenance, what with clutch covers off and all. I was proud of myself for just changing coolant today.

Rode it home tonite. Valve train is much quieter, as we got the valve clearances spot on to specs. Engine feels a little more responsive & immediate, ready to pounce.
