Maine Superhawk

I just rode the hawk from Toronto to Bar Harbor then over to Saint John and then to Halifax and then back home. I saw a yellow hawk in Augusta, Maine. Anyone here? I was stuck in construction of one of the new roundabouts. The hawk was solid for the entire 4300 kms. The Ducati I was travelling with had chain problems but the locals just outside of Ellsworth let us use their tools and shop and we were on our way. If anyone is thinking of travelling this route, I have some excellent roads to take. We ate lobster 3 times for less than pizza. Cheers.

yellow hawk right on your route - tch, nb#2, exit 450, magnetic hill, moncton.

your trip sounds great! maine and new hampshire are nice and have great riding. nb and ns have a bit of ok rides too. lobster is $3/lb on the dock. still a rip off! hahahaha

I stayed one night in Saint John with my brother and we rode through Moncton on the way back. We just blasted the highway to get from Halifax to Bar Harbor. My buddy is a lobster fisherman in and they don't seem to be worried. Next year I'll ensure we stop in Moncton. I hear the restaurant at Magnetic hill is good.

blasted through nb - that's why we're "the causeway province"!!!

there is some good riding around "the john". the kingston peninsula in particular is good. we rode through there yesterday.

halifax is nice. i did four great years at saint mary's university. partied three to four nights a week and still didn't get to every pub!

there are some great roads around bridgewater ns.

advocate harbour area near amherst has some good roads too.

if you make it back let me know. stop in for some chain lube and any other necessities! the best food at mag hill are my grilled burgers!!!
