thought id throw some entertainment over to you guys. i was out with a buddy of mine on his 07 cbr 1k, full akro exhaust and tuned with bazzaz, we were in "mexico" and were out just screwing around. the night he tuned he layed down 154 whp on a dyno that reads good and low, read 5 hp low on mine and i made 148 the day this video was made with fouled plugs and the header leaking at 3 spots at the head and 143 the other weekend on the same dyno he made 154 on, left with 145 after the tune so if i go back to the same dyno should be about 150 not factoring in the ram air effect. anyways, we lined up, i started in second gear from 105 kph, so just over 60 mph, decided first was pointless as it ends around 90 mph and second takes me to about 110 mph. so i use second for most of my hiway pulls in "mexico" you can see he gets a small jump on me but i reel him in and pass him. no he didnt hit the suv, he pulled into my lane and stayed in it, weve pulled since then with the same outcome. i let off just shy of 300 kph, he said he was a few kph off of that about 293 he says. so in american speak i hit about 186 mph. according to the speedo and he was a couple low of that. anyways, in mexico, on an old airfield, just having fun. enjoy
