leathers damage...
so I borrowed my LIKE NEW leathers to someone to use. 2 years later I get them back like this.
http://i181.photobucket.com/albums/x...Picture067.jpg http://i181.photobucket.com/albums/x...Picture068.jpg http://i181.photobucket.com/albums/x...Picture066.jpg Holes in the knees. Thanks a lot. So he says he got a quote to repair of $30. I really find that hard to believe that they can repair that for $30. What do you guys suggest I do? What makes me extra irritated is the fact that I borrowed these to this kid to use, I get them back 2 years later after I hound the hell out of him to get them back to me, and they are returned like this! The kid now makes a ton of dough in bikes and even claims his dad as a dependent. WTF! With all his sponsorships etc, you would think he would just take care of them or something! |
ummm, make him pay for them. Two years of racing is the life of a set of leathers. Screw him, get new.
I dont know that he used them for 2 years, he just had them that long. He thinks its ok to offer me $30 to get these repaired. I honestly think thats an insult. I dont want to be a b!tch about it but christ dude... Talk about taking advantage of my kindness. The 16 year old kid makes $300k a year, and this is how he treats the people who helped him get there?!
Umm, he owes you a set of new leathers. Ask him how much he thinks the skin grafts would have cost if he hadn't been wearing your leathers.
Im going to call his daddy. LOL
his dad just wants to pay for the cost to repair them.
I just called one of the good repair guys and he said $50. I just dont think they can do that for that cheap but i guess they can????
16 years old.....300k a year?
....I'm obviously in the wrong business. :p |
I didn't realize Aaron knew how to put his knee down. Just kidding.
yeah he got started with CRA when I borrowed him these leathers.
What a douche, how is it that he doesn't have his own leathers, and why won't he just replace yours? What did he blow all of his money on candy and action figures or something?
I dont know why he didnt just replace mine. I think hes tryin to get off cheap. He didnt even tell me they were damaged. I got the "surprise" in the mail.
So you guys think I should ask him to pay to replace them? How much do you think is appropriate? Theres no way I will ever find them used in my size. http://www.motonekoparts.com/AGV-Spo...t-p-17214.html 698.00 http://www.motonekoparts.com/Agv-Spo...t-p-16258.html 460.00 http://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/mcy/687677938.html Used 275.00 http://www.thefind.com/apparel/info-...e-leather-suit 599.95 |
sent the ass hat an email asking him to replace them; let's denial of service his punk ass
After discussing with many other fellow motorcyclist, we all agree that they should be either replaced or purchased from me. They were not loaned to you in a repaired state. They were in like new condition. You also had them for over 2 years and I know the only reason I got them back was because I was nagging you about it. It's not morally right to damage someones property, return it 2 years later after being nagged about it, and return them damaged without saying a word about it.
It will cost me an average of $500 to replace them. > To: racer_abear@hotmail.com > Subject: Re: Leathers > From: aaron@Aaroncolton.com > Date: Tue, 20 May 2008 19:41:05 +0000 > > What would it take to make you happy on this whole deal? > |
small claims court was created for this...
that's his reply?????? WTF, it looks like its pretty clear, $500, that is what Ali wants!

This Aaron Colton? 14? you're lucky he even responds to your emails.... lol.. he's right smack in the middle of that "I know everything, who the fuck are you?" stage.. and making loot to boot.. Ali, I say good luck. You need to drop kick the kid, and talk to his Dad.. |
He should definitely replace your leathers or buy those back from you. Just remind him that had he not had your leathers, his doctor bill would of exceeded the cost of the leathers, let alone that rubbish about giving you enough to have them patched up. They've got money obviously, so hit them hard for it......
http://www.dainese.com/img/logo_dainese.gif <----- :D Man I really hate rich people. Even when they have more money than they know what to do with (constructively), they still try and weasel out on people. A drop kick is in order. |

What kind of bike is that? I've never heard of this kid, is he supposed to be a racer? Not on that bike he isn't. Conventional forks, huge chicken strips on the front tires...
oh nevermind...stunter
Damn what the hell kind of kids pop out of wombs these days?
...Then again I watched the news video on his site and saw his Dad was a squid too....err...I mean stunter...so it makes sense why he's also not a responsible person in doing the right thing. That kid needs to meet Mr.Darwin and step next door to visit with good ole Miss Karma while he's there. |
here's his email response to me

:loser:Jack, I do not know who you are but I told Ali that I would do what it takes to make her happy. Thirty dollars was the quote that I got for a x by x size hole to be repaired. I have the situation under control and I did not need your two cents about the whole deal. Aaron :asshat::bsflag:------Original Message------ From: jacktakenoslack@<nospam>charter.net To: aaron@aaroncolton.com Subject: nice leathers Sent: May 22, 2008 10:55 AM now, could you please replace the torn-up shreds you sent back to ALI? 30 bucks? Don't be a chump, do the right thing... |
