Just got me a Icon field armor
 

Hey guys just picked this up yesterday. It not full protection but its something that is a good investment for intense heat day.

huh? you plan on wearing this without a jacket? as long as you know this is not for abrasion protection.

If I had been wearing one under my Joe Rocket Phoenix 3 jacket when I went down last May, my spleen would not have gotten bruised by the one way sign that I was pushed into..

But I also would have been hotter than I already was in my Jacket.

No I wear it outside my jacket. some like to wear it inside but i figure it look better outside and plus if i do fall i rather have minimum damage to the jacket. I got this for free from my brother since he sold his R1. I have a jumpsuit that is not made for intense riding but it have knee and elbow pad which goes really well with the vest. I wear the jumpsuit on heat day since it thin material than my Icon jacket

gotcha, i guess me and you have different meanings of the word "heat"

can't be too safe right.. need all the protection i can get

Definitely better than just a t-shirt, and the price was right.
