Interesting VTR

This reminds me a whole lot of that futuristic honda design paraded around a couple of years ago (specifically at Laguna Seca). I wonder if there is a connection?

Re: Interesting VTR

Is that thing supercharged? It looks like it has a belt from the crank to somethingunder the gas tank.

Re: Interesting VTR

Bike is supercharged (from Mini Cooper; I read French)
also:
- 200 series rear tire
- swingarm is a welded piece (looks a lot like MV Agusta piece)
- front "fork" is custom designed, machined from billet
- engine is stressed member (pretty evident!)

Nice bike

Re: Interesting VTR

Looks like the NAS bike that came out a few years ago. SIngle sided swingarm and single sided fork in front and radial brakes. Same aggressive styling. Take a look for yourself

Looks like a company that took a good idea and ran with it (too bad honda hasn't)

Re: Interesting VTR

Lazareth has done that kind of design (it is not his first bike in this style) a bit before Honda US actually put NAS up for show, so who knows.
He's done a lot of bikes, cars, etc. - he has worked for famous mtoring design guru - Sbarro, so I will not be suprised if Honda US used him as well...
On his website you may find a loads of amazing bikes and cars - he's known in Europe as a maker of totaly nuts bikes/cars for many years
