I'm stock except for Jardine slip-ons. My friends RC has cut-down Sato pipes and a freshly installed power commander. I weighed in at 636 (-160 for me)and he was 680 (not sure of his weight).
My quickest was 10.343 @130.1 and 108.4hp

That is awesome!!! Nicely done. I never would have bet on that.

Yellow...obviously fastest.

Can you find out his weight? That puts the 'Hawk at 476.

That's impressive, but if it was Titanium you might have hit 10.2sec.

He weights around 215. And in all fairness, his power commander is apparently not tuned right. Last year he was @ 125hp.

Im suprised he won three times. Yellow may be the fastest when stationary but on the road black absorbs all light and therfor has WAY less drag and is fastest

I was watching the drags earlier, Your Hawk was on par if not quicker than the 600 sportbikes, and sounded way cooler!!!

Sorry BlackHawk, that's not your guy. Don is a friend I work with. He doesn't leave the state too often and he lives near me in Dover PA. I have a bunch of pics from BikeFest. I'll post 'em soon.

Wink

Hey,

I saw a stock 1972 Pinto blow the doors of a 2008 Z07 Corvette today... Damn what's the chance of that... About the same as a Super Hawk out running a RC... you guy's crack me up.

comparing the SH to a 72 Pinto is just rude.

I beat a 2006 Z06 at the track last year in my stock motored '85. He redlighted and I still outran him.

There's more to a race than the equipment sometimes. Did the RC51 pick up 3/4 of a second in 5 minutes, or did the rider? And btw, there's no such thing as a Z07.

You know, you just gotta' love the torque of that Hawk. And if you guys really want to start going there w/ the my (insert vehicle) beat his (insert their vehicle) - then I've got one for you. My '02 F-350 Super Duty 4 wheel drive extended cab pick up, spanked (and I mean spanked..) a later model Z 28. I guess I neglected to tell him about all the goodies I had in her...

This is fun just to stir the pot... My old Super Hawk run's damn strong (isn't that right newb007) but with equal riders the Hawk does not stand a chance with a RC.... Hell as far as that the Hawk and the RC are slower most other liter bikes... But you got to love the toque of the V-Twin.... I guess it must have been Z06 the Z07 are not out yet.

That was an interesting Picture Wolverine. The Hawk must have Accelerated much quicker than the RC51.......The RC51 finished going faster than the hawk yet still loss. It seems to me that the Hawk took off quicker and then the RC51 was running it down (almost).

After watching the video about 50 times (still in disbelief), I agree I was getting much better launches. He beat me off the tree all 3 times, the last one not being a red light and I still got him.

Hammer7205: It's funny you mention the truck thing. D (the RC owner) is into the whole Ford diesel scene and has a lifted F?50.
