I am an eBay retard magnet!!!!

Yes, my streak continues!!!!

After having been f***ed over by the seller of the MIG hi-mounts who chose to walk away from the sale of his pipes (wiht no consequence from eBay, God bless their souls), I have stumbled across another retard, this time the seller of a full Akrapovic system. Now, get this, I paid for the system (700 Euros... $1100 CAN nonetheless!!!), and the dude accepted the Paypal money transfer (otherwise it would appear as unclimed in my transaction statement). The dude has still not sent it out, saying I have not yet paid him. To add insult to injury, he has filed an unpaid item claim against me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What I wouldn"t give to get my hands on these two morons....................

Hey brother, make sure you file the claim with Paypal before the deadline. I once donated $350USD to someone because PP said I was outside the claim period. No recourse either. The dude was in Europe....someday I will visit that place. Good luck with getting your money back.

...which is?

PP sucks. They claim to offer protection but they don't. As far as I can tell you're just as bad off as having sent cash, in my experience.

Caveat emptor, especially when dealing with international transactions. Dealing with scumbags in this country (or on this continent) is difficult enough. Dealing with scumbags overseas is damn near impossible.

Check out Paypalsucks.com or other sites if you think Paypal does anything for anybody.
They don't. THey screw both sides of the transaction equally joyfully.
Sons of bitches.

I bought and paid for item. Seller doesn't respond for 10 days, so I file a complaint. Seller gets mad, admits he has payment but isn't going to send me the product. I forward email with complaint to ebay.
Nothing they can/will do, not even reprimand the seller. F'ing unbelievable.

I had a problem with paypal with several items and come to find out that they sent out a new card and I never went in and activated it. All these negative experiences don't sound good for ebay and paypal.

I just wanted to add that Peter (Firestorm996) can attest to the new heights of paranoia and stupidity exhibited by the Akra seller. Thankfully, he has been there to help steer me through this mess although the final result is still anyone`s guess...

Thanks to you Peter!

Seems there may be a light at the end of the tunnel. After ignoring my every effort (over a two week period nonetheless) to enlighten him to the fact that I had Paypaled him the money on May 20th, Peter`s brother (who is a cop in Germany) gave him a call and explained the workings of Paypal to him (God knows I had tried!!!!!!!!!!!!) and he is now ready to ship the system out. The bastard better follow through! After all, if he had shipped it two weeks ago (when I paid him for it), I would surely have it by now!

Let`s just say I'll be VERY relieved if/when it shows up...... I have to add that Peter and his bro have been extraordinarily helpful in getting the dufuss to understand the workings of Paypal.

Once you get the pipework, will you name the seller so others can be suitability careful?

Update: I just got word from Peter that his brother (who lives in Germany) just took delivery of the Akra system This means he`ll be forwarding it on to me shortly. Looks like I'll finally get my full system!!!!!

On another note, I just looked into getting it ceramic coated prior to installing it and can get it done for $120-150 CAn in satin black (more for chrome finish but IMO chrome doesn`t belong on a sportbike, not mine anyway).
