Hello all from the new guy

Hello all, just doing the breaking of ice deal. Just purchased a 98 Superhawk, and it is a 100% all OrIgInAl, unmolested, beautiful machine (And it's a Honda so I think it would be silly if it wasn't anything other than red!). Just under 11,000 miles which really baffled me to be honest, the previous owner was big in to dirt bikes and this was his occasional street ride. But that equates to 1,000 miles a year. I have done that in a weekend...

Previous bikes are as follows: 82 Honda CB450T, 86 Virago 700, 86 Nighthawk 700 (Still in the garage, hence "The Hawks Nest..." and that's all original and a beauty of a bike- "limited run" red, white, and blue), 99 ZRX1100, and the latest totaled bike a 2000 Triumph Sprint ST.

I would like to thank Progressive Insurance for the timely and HUGE settlement on a 9 year old bike, and for making all of this possible. I've been able to purchase the Surperhawk, new Suomy helmet, pay for insurance for the year, new set of tires, and possible a new Vanson jacket... My fiance is a bit jealous, but she's getting our wedding next year!

OK, I've rambled. Looking forward to making some connections.

Have a nice evening/day/etc

Welcome The Hawks Nest, from another new owner/member! I too am loving my SuperHawk.

Now I know as new owners we're probably on even footing where knowledge of these bikes is concerned, but I do have to tell you "...would be silly if it wasn't anything other than red!" is way off.

Everyone knows a proper SuperHawk should be yellow!!!

Welcome!! I'm in Gettysburg. Have you heard any info on the motorsports park being built near Reading?
