Hi, Mike here in SanDiego. Bought my Hawk Nov. of 97...it's a black '98 with cromed Honda badges on tank. Mods?? A few. Front springs, pads, oil, and brake lines were the first. Powerbronze lowers and hugger....carbon look-a-likes. UK spec carbs. The bike spent 2 years in Newquay, Cornwall, UK with me. Smoked Zero Gravity bubble sheild....great for me seems I'm 6'3"...LOL. Tires, tires, and more tires!!! Two Brothers full system with C4 aluminum cans. Had D&D slip-ons but they blew out. 520 chain conversion, 2 teeth up on rear. Scot oiler. Hacked rear fender and shortened turn stalks
Best ride? Either the return from Brands Hatch 2000 or the 774 mile(one LONG day) ride with the Visordown crew. Did one trackday...Willow Springs big track and had a blast!! Turn 8 ......
