Which is why we went the North America background route. Just thought I'd throw it out there since it is a Superhawk shirt. The flame job to me could be construed as a blow up? I showed it to a non VTR riding friend and that's the first comment I got. "What, did it just blow up?"
And please remember gents, this will be a one color (bike wise) design. I offered multiple colors once and won't go down that road again. I have these screen printed the old fashioned way and I need to keep it easy on myself.

Yes, that is the first impression I had. Not that cool.
Maybe those of us that had a catastrophic engine failure would want one as a (painful) reminder.
The printers would print what is black as white ink on dark cloth to get the original image.
It isn't meant to be printed on a white background / t-shirt - think of it as more of a working image file. Like a negative image in photography or a mould when casting...
It's done to avoid ****-ups like this well intentioned design of an Alan Partridge image for a t-shirt sent to the printers getting turned into a 'Shroud of Turin' Jesus negative when printed with light ink on a dark background.

If someone wants a white shirt, I'd have 'em made. Our southern contingent that lives in the extreme heat might prefer a white T over a black one. So it would look like the preview.
I'm sure John can tweak the final edition to get more tire.

Thought of a random twist to throw in the mix too btw. Just figured I’d put it out there, definitely not trying to over complicate though...
Seeing as colors are always something in the discussion, (ie-what color should the bike be in the image) and we managed to maybe come up with a collective agreement to the designs above...what would it be to consider different actual t-shirt colors with the general images printed on them? A Red shirt for Red, Yellow shirt for Yellow, Blue for Blue, etc???
I really liked the last one we had, wasn't intrusive and looked like a signature, it was just perfect.
Which was the Superhawk996 fairing logo, and was on the engine cutaway shirt too.

Yeah, no. It would do just that. I did it once before and it was not fun on my part(I vowed to not go there again). It's going to be even more challenging in the fact that I will have guys ordering from multiple Facebook groups as well as this forum. This should be fun...
So, do y'all want the V2 90 degree DOHC or this one?
From recent experience doing Firestorm t-shirts despite offering the whole range of VTR colours to UK, Ireland , NZ & Aus, the most popular colour were black and mid charcoal grey! Only a few about 15% took up the matching colour options.

Makes perfect sense to me! Was just a thought like I mentioned...for sure the simpler does work better...general colors do go over better anyhow. 👍🏻
And I like the DOHC image personally...otherwise one might interpret it as Super Hawk version 2 maybe?
