Lightning.
 
The set I got from Lightning actually had 2 bolts that were
the same size. Bastards.. I ended up having to cut one of them
with a dremel.

They basically sent me two of the left side sliders...

Anyway, I put them on and torqued the crap out of them.
So far no problems. Put some non-permanent threadlocker on
'em just in case.

The Lightning Performance sliders I got had different bolts - hex inset, 5/16. So I had to buy a hex bit socket set ($10). My torque wrench is in pound inches, and the manual has it in pound feet. I tightened engine bolts to 29 pounds ft = 348 pound inch (I think - so correct me NOW if I'm wrong : ) It still feels like it could be tightened much more...

How did those Dennis Kirk frame sliders work out for you? Any pics? Are they long like the Lightning sliders or less obtrusive?

Like, Random, I too have Lightning frame sliders and think a great deal of them. Yes, they _are_ a bit long, but I've found that to come-in handy on occasion, when extending-and-resting a leg to relieve a muscle cramp. https://www.superhawkforum.com/image...on_biggrin.gif
