A bit late to run your poor unfortunate dabblers under the cold tap - but get the ring off pronto in case there's any subsequent swelling!

Thanks, but this happened yesterday. I soaked in a cold tub for 30 minutes before going to the ER. Doc took the ring off, but today there's no more swelling so I put it back on. The bag under my hands in the picture is the old dressing I just took off.
