Faded paint on plastics

I just bought a red 2002 Superhawk with 10k miles on it. It's in great shape, but the paint on the plastics is somewhat faded in places. Does anyone know of a good way to bring the color out and reduce the faded look without repainting?

Have you already repainted your plastics? If so, how much did that run you?
