saw very good prices at indysuperbikes and motorcycle superstore - they just don't have the size I need yet (190) for my other bike or I would have bought them. Have heard/read only good things including one other guy I ride with.

Thank you both for that....

CG is my normal tire suppler.. 3k on a rear is all I get on a good few months for the SH.. and I get two rides from a rear dirt tire ...
So I'm a frequent visitor to the store in Austin.. Though lately, two dealers closer to me have been doing loss leader sales of tires.. Prices mounted that are below CG prices mounted.

So we will see who has um on the shelf when I get home…..closest shop wins a COOKIE.

Ever thought of a hi-mileage tire?....ie Road Smarts. I know the Q2 are excellent.

What high milage tire do you have in mind that has the same performance level of a Pilot Power or Dunlop Q2 or other like tire?

I'm not wearing out the center of the tire in that 3000 mile reference above
If there is another option I have not already tried, I'd love to spoon a set on.. Like my next set, the Q2.. as soon as a new one comes out I give um a shot... so I think I have tried what is available, but ya never know...
So what tire you thinking about??

Yeah I think dealers got tired of us beating them up on tires for years, we've got some dealers down here doing the same thing trying to cut throat us, selling tires at a loss. There's even 1 here doing mount and balance on the bike for $15!
The only long lasting tires that might come close to the stick of the Q2 is the road2 or the new Pirelli Angel. IMO
