Could use a few opinions please.

I have been discussing a new paint job with a friend of mine and think it will look great on a SH, but I'm still leary of the paint. I am thinking of painting the bie a matte black with SEM's Hotrod Black kit HR010 and was wondering if anyone had any experience with this kit. Also what do you all think about the color?

Another thing does anyone know where I can get a good shifter for a decent price? My dealer wants $95 plus tax and I just don't see paying that for it.

Thanks,
Brad

Stay away from the matte. I've seen it on a ZX10. It looked very stealthy but I think nice " tasteful " color combo would look better.

paint

not a big fan of flat unless its on a streetfighter. I have a heavily flaked out blue paint job on mine. Did it my self, has 11 coats of clear, and is sweet looking.

I have a heavily flaked red paint job on it now but really just tired or the red on every SH I see. I have some pictures of a Ducati SS that has the same paint on it andit looks really nice.
