Can I park here?
Hello, I am a new VTR Owner. Just got a 2002 Superhawk yesterday and found this forum looking for some information as this is the first Honda V-Twin sport bike I've ever owned. I've had Sabers, Interceptors, Magnas of a couple different generations, and a Yamaha RD-400 Daytona Special...
This Superhawk is completely different from all of those. Different in a good way. I am really loving this bike so far.
I hope to glean as much information about the Care and Feeding of this beast as I can.

Let me tell you guys about myself a bit. I'm a co-owner of Crusader Weaponry. We build custom guns and make a Lubricant called "Slipstream". I'm the Senior Trainer and conduct all of our firearms training courses. I sell guns for a living and teach people how to use them. I'm also an author, with two books on Amazon.com. Uprising USA and Uprising UK. It's an end of the world Zombie Apocalypse type story adding in some supernatural stuff to spice it up. I have a contract for 2 more Uprising books, Russia and China. Then I have 3 other books in the works.
Shooting, Riding, Aviation, and Good Food are things I love. I just turned 42 and my Superhawk was by birthday present.
I'm really loving my Hawk. It's unlike any other bike I've ever ridden. Tons of torque, the effortless speed when you roll on the throttle... this engine... it's amazing. I've been in love with Honda's V-4 engine. But I have to admit I am enjoying this V-Twin more than I thought possible.
