BARELY USED HELMETS CRAIGSLIST?
seems like when i looking at craigslist, i see motorcycle helmets for sale everywhere, generally they are KBC brand and only used a few times. Most do not have phone numbers. Is this some kind of scam and how would so may people have basically new helmets for sale?

I would buy one from ebay not craiglist. I got a KBC VR-2 GunSlinger for 40 dollar plus 20 shipping BRAND NEW IN THE BOX. When it came it is new i even take the inside out and check the foam with no crack. I was in luck but i'm sure you can get a new one there for 80. VR-2 is not the best helmet but its one of those that you get more for your buck on ebay. I rather get a shoei but that like 500 for the cheapest one lol even used it cost around 300. But these guys here will give you a good advice which is never buy a used helmet.

the only advantage to craigslist is you can sometimes get lucky, talk to and meet the seller and occasionally its someone that bought a nice helmet thinking they were getting into/back into biking and 2 years later haven't used it. When you get that setting you can usually tell someone is legit and its probably OK. otherwise who knows and good chance its a stolen helmet

That's true Cliby! I bought a helmet locally that was used for a photo shoot and nothing more. It was an HJC and it's still one of my fav's. I paid $50 for it but like is said above - I could talk to the seller, it was almost new and had tags and a box.

I bought a arai signet from this old guy who never rode his bike for 35. bucks it still smelled new, he was remodleing his home and was selling everthing in his house for llike nothing and it was all only three years old so if you look hard clist is good but most of it is some sort of scam lol
