I'd look for a clutch perch from a honda that uses bar mount mirrors (919? or is that a cable model?).

Hmm, good idea! I'll look into that. I had considered fairing mount mirrors, and then realized I wouldn't have fairings. Then I bought a bar-end type, but those things are distracting and expensive for what they are.

I'm on the verge of finding lots of duct tape and/or welding.
