Anyone tried fitting VFR signals?

I'm wondering if the signals from the 5th gen VFR would fit the the VTR. I have a feeling that the contour of the fairings are different, making the fit awkward. Anyone here given it a shot?

I have never seen it done.

Much better looking turn signals to use rather than those. Not worth the effort in my opinion, possibly why no-one has done it.

Yeah, I've never seen 'em used, and they may be ugly ... dunno. But I thought they might be an okay compromise between stock and small after market ones. Just a thought.

Interesting.. I'm guessing these would retain the 3 wire setup and have the marker light function? Retaining the marker lights affordably is what is keeping me away from aftermarket signals.
