taking the hawk out today, we have had so little snow and ice that there is barely any sand on the roads hopefully taking both bikes out to exercise them a bit.

quite amazing if you think about it...i dont even know what im gonna do with the 15 degree temps at the end of the week

No doubt. Its been super warm here lately too. Usually we'd be at -15C for a daytime high and for the past week its been at least 4-6C during the day! I have a bad feeling that Mother nature is gonna make us pay for it though...

I hear you. I'm hoping to ride to work tomorrow, but on my Yamaha WR250R ... the Hawk's pretty much bedded down for the winter. But no matter what happens it can't be anything like last winter.

yes sir, I'm diggin the **** out of this global warming. Rode two days after xmas and 2 days last week, and tomorrow and the next day are supposed to be in the mid 40s. Have been riding the xr instead of the SH because of dirty wet roads. Incidentally, i had to relearn that 40 degree wet is slippier than 70 degree wet. Definitely gets the adrenalin flowing, that is, whatever there is left of it, haha/

and that could be a good thing if you got more *** than you need huh.

40s is a little cold, but invigorating if you have the right gear. I'm thankful for days like today- lookin like 45 and sunny, unbelievable in mid-winter,
and enjoyable if you're warm.

I'm with you Matt, anything below 55 and I'm freezing. There's no way I could live in a place that drops below freezing at night

Try living in a place where it doesnt go above freezing for 4 to 5 months...a couple degrees above and it feels like summer after that!
