3 Watt Red Strobe
3 Watt Red Strobe
Saw some Beemers with ridiculously bright brake strobes and thought "man, be hard to miss that!" This was in day light. So I ordered a 3 strobe 3 watt unit from superbrightled.com, it showed 2 days later. Connected to a battery fired it up, that lasted less than a second. It was like staring into a strobing sun with binoculars. It was 37 bucks with shipping, the LEDs appear clear until lit and it's amazingly compact. Also completely waterproof. Will need to fab a bracket or mount it by drilling in the license plate. Seeing crashes nearly every day now in I40 in and around knoxville and feel I need the visibility. This light is of the same caliber you see on road side work vehicles and sure ought to help.
Kudos for being smart enough to want MORE conspicuity, and not blacking out your lights to look cool and using a super squid led light that integrates everything.
Biking is dangerous and the least you can do is stack the deck in you favor.
I do want pics. I have a brake light flasher that strobes it like 5 times then goes solid.
Just got led strobes that I was going to put on the front to strobe drivers about to make a left turn in front of me.
