2003 vs 2004 Superhawk questions

Hey guys , the newbie here .

I have my choice between a 03 and 04 and need to seal the deal quick but I wanted to make certain that the 2004 year model did or did not have some minor changes other than color to make it the far better choice over the new left over 2003 .

For myself I like the blue on the 03 a little better and it does cost a bit less which even helps more .

Whatcha say , is it blue or black Superhawk for me ?

Both bikes are the same. It comes down to which color you like better. Besides if you go with the leftover model then you can spend that saved money on upgrading the bike.

Re: 2003 vs 2004 Superhawk questions

Thanks faz .

Man I got off a Bandit 1200 and Hayabusa to get this bike and on the ride home yesterday I felt like I had a little GP bike under me .

I am one happy camper and just cannot say enough about how well this thing feels . Can't wait to get to some twisties but have some mods to make over winter .

Honda helped the dealer with an little known rebate of 300 bucks , good bad or in the middle I paid 6859.00 out the door for the 2003 Blue .

Right beside it was a 2003 SV1000S for 6300.00 OTD he was pushing me towards , I said nope , want the Honda

Hey Rollingalong,
That's a heckuva price. And that $6859 included tax and all that other junk? If so, that's awesome.

In 99 I paid $6895 plus tax for my leftover 98. Couldn't be happier with my decision, either.

Are you on ST.N also? I think I've replied to a post of yours over there too.

Jeff that's me at the other site .

That price was out the door . The 59.00 was some kinda tax , forget exactly what the deal was .

I just posted in the wanted section but will ask here also , if you guys run across a complete Hawk engine that is not trashed , please let me know . I need it for my motor project .

congrats on the bike, great price you got.

could you give a bit more info on how you find this bike compared to your bandit or hayabusa? weight, torque (low, mid,, high end), etc etc

good choice to go with honda over SV, even though I really like the SV too.
