Re: 2003 Superhawk
If I were you, I would look at the used ones as well.
You may be able to find a 1 or 2 year old, never dropped, 6-10k miles bike (nothing for a superhawk) with some needed modifications (brake lines, fork springs, etc.) for less than $6k including taxes and all.
I highly suggest you look into it.

Actually, that is probably the way I will go. They seem to go for near nothing used. I have found plenty of examples like that for around $4,000.00. I just really like the look of the blue ones and IF I can find the right deal that is the way I will go. I have found one 04 at a dealer that will go $6500 OTD on it but I just cant stand the look of the BLACK and GOLD (G******) paint scheme.

Are you serious? I love the looks of the black one, and 6500 OTD is an absolute STEAL!
I would get that one if I were you.
But, remember, the bike has to make you smile each time you look at it or want to ride it.
If it is a blue one you want, and if that is the one giving you the smile, get the blue one, even if it costs more.
(or, get a used one and spend a few hundred on custom painting it.)
