When I was just out of high school in 1965 or 66, a friend of mine had a 305 Superhawk. At that time it was the quickest accelerating motorcycle I'd ever seen. I never rode it though.

My best friend's dad bought a 1966 Honda 160, which looked just like the 305 only smaller. Unless you count a Suzuki 60cc 2 stroke that topped out at about 55mph, that 160 was the first "real" motorcycle that I rode, back in 1966.

So does this mean when my '98 Superhawk is 48 years old it'll be worth $4200? I might sell it then. Maybe not.

Only worth it to someone that will pay it.
1969 Boca John was moving a couple of 160's and 305's because the new 175's and 350's were coming out. I wanted a 305 real bad but my dad wouldn't let me have it since I was only 15 at the time. Too much HP. Damn shame since it was only $100 bucks more than the 160. If I remember right I paid about 425.00 for the 160. Just over 500 for the 305. Now asking $4200. Don't think so. Anyway, I waited a long time for my SuperHawk but the wait was worth it.
