What is the little green reputation button on some profiles and how did it go from gray to green?

the reputation button is on the right side under your location, # of posts, etc. I was curious how it changed also - moderators, any ideas??

It's a points sytem where other members give you + points,(turns green), if they like your post or -,(turns red), if they don't. I haven't seen a lot of people on here use it though. Here's some point's so you know what I mean, it's the icon top right that looks like a scale.

Good to know! It says stuff when you put your mouse on the person...like "off the scale" or something like "on the road..." Be nicer if they just said the number of points.

I was under the impression that the "reputation" icon was an indication of how many posts the user made per day.

Right, but we were transferred under the "old" system (pre-VB), so our reputation is crap already.

It takes some time,(to accumulate points to change), but it probably changed what his dot says.
