WANT TO RIDE IN THE CARIBBEAN

I just got back from the Caribbean (Jamaica, USVI, BVI) and i have to say i was wanting my bike in a bad way. those roads are crazy....if they were to all be repaired and a little wider....WOW.

Anyone ever ride there? I rode a scooter, but it wasnt the same....

I have been to St. Lucia before. The roads provide beautiful views, bun the roads are not in good condition.

With the way the drivers are over there, count me out.

I vividly recall being on a shuttle bus and passing 3 vehicles in a row then being in the middle of the road on a blind corner. no gard rails mind you.

yeah most of the guard rails were taken out. ha. the locals were pretty crazy drivers, but i never saw any close calls. lots of lane splitting on the folks that did have bikes, which to me was insane on those narrow *** roads. the potholes were like 8 feet deep.... i dont plan on putting anything together simply because i just got back and im poor now! we are actually entertaining the notion of moving there for a few years as i was, oddly enough, offered a job while we were there.

i would definitely like to ride the hawk there, but every bike i saw had some cosmetic damage on it from being dropped.....

Don't hold your breath for the roads to be repaired in any of those places.
