I'm all for people being "creative" with their bikes, but tell me if any of the mods on that bike make sense or add to the peformance. How does chrome make you go faster or make your bike lighter?
How does lowering it make it handle better in the curves? How does a longer swingarm make the bike turn better? And last... Why would you make a V-twin sport bike a drag bike? You'd be faster on a I-4. IMHO

 

You shoulda seen the Michael Jordan track bike at the local Cresson and TWS track days. Anybody ever seen that guy besides me. The bike is very bling, but he can't ride worth ****.

 

wow such narrow minded people on this post..... just because somethings not what you (or me for that matter) would chose to do with your bike doesn't in anyway make it not a worthy effort for the person who decied they liked that style. who are you to decide what a bike sholud or shouldn't be. If the bikes not for you then fine don't buy it, but some of the comments on here were wholely unnessasary. Some people don't care about getting the last ounce of performace out of there bikes. they want something they can enjoy looking at rather then something track worthy. next time you want to talk about some ones bike remember that you own a half naked twin that there are alot of people out there don't too much care for ( thats how half of us got our great deals on them).


P.S. loco, I've met that guy and yeah he's slow as sin but thats not the bikes fault lol.

Wow glad I didn't voice my opinion,(man what an ugly pos). I'd hate to have my *** reamed like that,(what a waste of money). I agree, keep your negativity to your selves,(poor bike never had a chance). If you've got nothing nice to say,(probably never even takes it to the strip), don't say anything at all. If someone wants to make one of the best handling bikes into a straight liner who are we to judge,(what a dumb ***!), to each his own I say.:wink:
