Pets?

After being on here for a while I was just wondering home many of you all have that good ole pet that you couldn't live with out? For me its my 2 1/2 old Queensland heeler Darla. Her and I have been through some tuff stuff together and I wouldn't trade her for anything.

We had to put our Akita to sleep a few years back. (torn acl and broken leg) And, still can't get over her being gone... Want to get another Akita. But, insurance company says they're on the dangerous breed list... So looking into other breeds.

This topic popped up on a few forum sites in the last few weeks. Is it pet appreciation month or something?

OK so, it's spring & this is a MOTORCYCLE forum. Did someone's pre-teen daughter get on here & start posting? Are we like twitter tweens? Is fashion chatter far off? It's like seventeen magazine. Kind of disappointing/ embarassing that I just rode home in 40 degree pouring rain through NYC at 4am & come in to this foo-foo. I mean twitter is out there right? What happened to power slides & greased bearings? Geesh! Can we turn the background pink?

I had a Welsh Terrier. Tike. Major hellraiser. A true tribute to his breed. He was big and heavy and rejected for breeding making him worthless to the people that owned him. He was as trim as a nickel but he was big. 28 pounds when norm for a big male is the high teens to low twenties. Aw shucks - we went on to have 14 years of great times. He was a bullet.
