Obamageddon!
A "service based economy". That's rich! America once had a value added production economy which made us the richest, most free society on earth. The greatest exporting nation, the greatest creditor nation.
A "service based economy"? Whoopie! In 1855 Mississippi plantation slaves were part of a "service economy". The Mississippi slaves have been replaced by welfare/taxpayer subsidized third world wetb... er unauthorized guest laborpersons, America is being looted by corporatist slime who partner with the Democrats, Republicans and the ChiCom Peoples Liberation Army to bring you $5 plastic shoes and $20 microwave oven through Walmart.
When it all falls down, when every dollars has been sucked off, the scumbags will move with their money to Zurich and Hong Kong. You'll have to learn how to speak Espanol and make your own tortillas.

Right. Who needs prime rib, tri tip or a N.Y. strip steak when you can put some manteca fried roof rat or possum on your home made tortillas?

lol don't forget most USDA N.Y strip is cut out of south of the border cows my friend. lol and the beer we shall be drinking is dos equis because the most interesting man in the world prefers it when he does happen to drink beer. lol
America produces more than twice as much beef as it consumes.
Six countries (Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay) export more beef to the U.S. than Mexico does.
Mexican beef is less than half of one percent of U.S. consumption.
Bohemia is pretty good, but I prefer Irish and German beer.
Sorry, but since you brought it up;

if in fact mexico imported beef only accounts for .5% of beef consumption in the U.S you have to let the mexicans stay..that mean all the carne asada they are eating is making sales for the U.S. hahahahaah

There's many ways to do your part in driving the country into the ground.
Immigration needs attention but it's a small piece of the pie. It is the common American mindset in general that is to blame.
Keep shopping at Walmart, sending your money to Chinese slave factories, and filling the landfills with $30 dvd players, and see how rich you are in 20 more years when your job is outsourced too.
You can't have an endless trade deficit with 3rd world countries and expect to maintain a higher standard of living.

There are so many things at play in what is going on.
-education is down the crapper
-kids don't give a @#$% about working, their country, paying bills
-we have more $$$ going out than coming in
-Almost NO regulation for CEO management of mega business (bailouts and all. HMMM, must be nice to make 50million when your company is posting losses)
-ETC
The politicians don't give a rats ****, the kids coming out of HS don't either. The CEO's are going to get while the getting is good, and the rest of us will suffer the consequences. Crap is hitting the fan, and the people with the power to do something about it won't. That leaves the common people to figure out a way to survive when it all goes bad. Can someone tell me what is going on? How can we, while loosing our *****, bailout companies that can't survive? Would it not be a better plan to take all that money, put it into rebuilding infrastructure, and employing those unemployed. Put money into reestablishing ourselves in the world economy, training people for the skills they will need to do this. Wait, no no no, lets put this in the pockets of the already millionaire and billionaire companies and ceos. GOOOD PLAN, jack *****.

I can't get over how PISSED you are at illegal aliens getting taxpayer dollars, even though you mention in the same breath the looting of America by the corporations. I haven't seen the figures but I'd guess that the recent bailouts alone, to say nothing of decades of tax breaks for certain industries that didn't need it (looking at you, oil industry) make our subsidizing of wall street/corporate America WAY more expensive than our subsidizing of healthcare for migrant workers or whatever. I mean damn, have we really spent 700 billion + on illegal aliens? I doubt it. Me personally, it's the corporate fat cats that get my blood boiling. I figure that the illegals are just trying to make a living.
In other news today, the deficit officially hit 1 trillion. Super!

We did indeed have an economy based on producing actual goods, until it became "cheaper" to produce those goods elsewhere. When we were making actual things we were doing very well. I think in the long run we have to look at production in terms of what we can sustain into the future.

Did you ever wonder why Bush and McCain had exactly, precisely the same position on border, immigration, illegal aliens and amnesty as Obama, Clinton, Kennedy, the Business Round Table, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and Goldman Sachs? Because they are all the wholly owned *** ****** of the internationalist, New World Order, corporatists, that's why.
Want to learn something about Goldman Sachs? Obama's favorite bank? Read these. Best work by Rolling Stone Magazine since the John Lennon interviews;

"Low wage immigrants" (legal and "undocumented") cost American working people/tax payers $20,000 per year each in social welfare services over and above what, if anything, they pay in taxes. There are at least FORTY ******* MILLION OF THEM HERE NOW!
Turn off the TV and educate yourself;

That is over 800 BILLION DOLLARS per year, not including the cost of police, courts and prisons.
It's the melding of multi national corporations and the government. Socialize the labor costs, maximize the profit. Like Celente said in the video, it's the New Fascism, Obama style. Kneel down and suck on it. Or stand up and fight it.
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, my city, Los Angeles, is 46% white and 46% percent "Hispanic". Please comment on the demographics of the LAPD 100 most wanted.

My fondest hope for you is that you abandon the dazed and confused leftist bullshit, grow a pair of ***** and stand up for your people, culture and country. How do you like that?

Washington apparently has a fresh dilemma on its hands, just inside of 6 months after the new administration came to power. Clearly the economic team, even though they were given almost 18 months to study the nature of the current crisis (starting in the Summer of 2007), incorrectly judged this recession to be of the post-war variety. Is that any surprise? Do you smell the melt down?

We are on pace for approximately 3.5 to 4 million foreclosure filings in 2009. This is unheard of in modern history. What makes this number even more startling is that the government has handed over trillions of dollars to Wall Street and the banking system yet the problems still persist for most average Americans. Many Americans are wondering if the money they handed over (unwillingly most of the time) is even doing any good. The outrage from last September’s Paulson 3 page $700 billion memo seems to have subsided. From that time however, the bailouts have gotten bigger and are following the unfortunate same trend. That is why foreclosures are still rocketing up. We’ve committed some $13 trillion in bailouts, enough to pay off every single mortgage in the United States, yet here we are still with massive foreclosures slamming the housing market lower while more and more Americans lose their jobs.

An economics professor at a local college made a statement that he had never failed a single student before, but had once failed an entire class.
--------------------------------------------
That class had insisted that Obama's socialism worked and that no one would be poor and no one would be rich, a great equalizer.
The professor then said, "OK, we will have an experiment in this class on Obama's plan".
All grades would be averaged and everyone would receive the same grade so no one would fail and no one would receive an A.
After the first test, the grades were averaged and everyone got a B.
The students who studied hard were upset and the students who studied little were happy.
As the second test rolled around, the students who studied little had studied even less and the ones who studied hard decided they wanted a free ride too so they studied little.
The second test average was a D!
No one was happy.
When the 3rd test rolled around, the average was an F.
The scores never increased as bickering, blame and name-calling all resulted in hard feelings and no one would study for the benefit of anyone else.
All failed, to their great surprise, and the professor told them that socialism would also ultimately fail because when the reward is great, the effort to succeed is great but when government takes all the reward away, no one will try or want to succeed.
