My new workspace!

I somehow convinced my parents to let me "store" one of my bikes in there basement for the winter...then that turned into two bikes after a recent purchase...then I figured I'd bring my other bike up from the barn so I could work on it out of the cold too...

One thing leads to another huh? Now that I have taken over a section of the basement, I'm going to turn it into my motorcycle shop so I have somewhere heated to work on my bikes for the winter. With the promise that I would clean up the rest of the basement....

here's what it's looking like

Now I need to start bringing in some shelves, benches, and tool boxes/carts. I've got an itch to start tearing things apart..

I've been doing the exact same thing for a couple years. The only negative aspect is I'm always dragging a bunch of tools around back and forth. And of course, I always forget something.

Looks great. I'd kill to have a space like that to do some work in. I rent a storage space just big enough to keep one bike in and I'm not allowed to do any work on the premises.

Oh, the joys of having selected the correct parents at the point of gestation.

If I had been that fortunate I would do something extra every day to make life easier on the 'rents.
