My counterpart at work is from this area that was demolished by the cyclone. His and his wifes family are okay and he has a way to get money to them so they can help others. He is up in LA this weekend raising funds from the Burmese community up there. $100 can feed 3 people for one month.

I have already collected almost $1000 from my non-motorcycling friends and am trying to get more before Tuesday, when the money will be sent.

This money will not go to the Myanmar government, which everyone knows is so corrupt and evil.
