Just picked up a new to me ride...

So after getting the hopefully future fiancee to ride with me she thought it was amazing just not very comfortable. So after some talking and thinking that it might be nice to have a bike to do some long hauls on this is what we came up with.. 2000 Kawasaki Vulcan 1500FI Nomad. It has 32,600 miles on it and is a boat to ride. Once I hit a few turns I find myself wish for my VTR but man I do like the feeling of riding a Lazyboy down the highway though.

Had one. very comfortable with risers and a driver backrest. you can do an iron butt ride on one easily. I gave mine up for the sport-touring route though. More weather protection.

Had a 1988 Goldwig that i rode to H.S. and college(4yrs) then the sportbikes(600rr,900rr), then the RC-51, and Superhawks. Yet, today! i would enjoy -taking off at midnight (after a day of school, and working the after school job)and riding 4hrs to Savannah GA. beaches to wait to watch the sun come up, usually with a girl -that we were both going to have to face her parents,(if not the Law) when we went to back home to Asheville. (IF I STILL HAD THE BIKE, And my body would stay with it) Sure kind of miss that ole' Lead Sled..
Kind of why i introduced my youngest brother to his first cruiser-1982 Suzuki GL1100GZ.

I originally wanted more of a sport tourer but with my partially disabled leg and shortness I had problems with the taller bikes so this was pretty much my option. As for the Iron butt ride I think it would be more of a Lazy boy cruise on this bike I have done 400 plus mile rides on my fire storm but it wasn't comfy lol.
