It's not a superhawk, but... I could win a ZX-14R!
Semi-finalists got announced today, and I'm on the list as one of the 8 for the Kawasaki Zero to Hero Challenge. Just trying to get this out on as many forums as possible since the public voting counts for 20% of the determination of who gets be one of the 4 finalists who get a shot at racing Rickey Gadson to try and win a 14R.
Oh, and I specifically mentioned my SH in the entry essay... check it out:

Daily 'please vote for me again today' bump. The top 4 get to go to Vegas and do Rickey's Drag Racing School, so I don't have to catch 'Ms Slick Wicked'... I've just got to stay ahead of the bottom four.

Daily bump for votes. The Kawasaki site was down overnight but they've got it back up and running. I'm currently in 4th place, and with your help I can stay that way, or better! Thanks!

Thanks for the votes guys! Daily reminder bump...
I made up some flyers and dropped a bunch by one of the local bike shops at bike night yesterday, and will swing by two more today. I'm still working to try and get the word out on the Army side of the house, it's a little harder because of the ethics rules (can't get it on the Army facebook page because it endorses a commercial product...) Having to beat the bushes and get it out word-of-mouth style.

Daily voting reminder bump. You guys are making a difference, each day I'm creeping a little bit more toward staying solidly in 2nd instead of being in a 4-way tie. A month of this is going to make my post-count look like I've been stomping around in the post-whoring thread, but for a trip to Vegas and a shot at racing for a bike it's worth it! Thanks everybody! I'm steadily gaining traction and am going to keep hitting the bricks here in the Sierra Vista / Fort Huachuca / Tucson AZ areas to try and get the word out.
