I got my Ticket bundle for Indy in the mail today. I can't wait! Almost like a kid at Christmas.

Who knows the area???

Have place just north of track - near Eagle Creek Park

Where is a good place to eat / drink - somewhere good, but will not break da bank?

FWIW - I'm used to good NYC metro eateries.

Thanks - Also as I like deviant behavior, thus where are the good go-go's?

Just west of the track is a pizza joint/ bar called Union Jacks. Cool atmosphere, lots of racing memorabilia including an Indy car in the back. Lots of cool places down town. As far as Adult entertainment...

Got below info from another site

Eats, just about anywhere.

Deviant behavior ..Dancers. It's out by the airport. There is the Classy Chassis I believe at exit 52 on the north side of the beltline. Hemi dragster mounted upside down on the ceiling. Not bad.... though it may have closed. There's a dive downtown The Red somethingorother. Cant remember, it was a dive. Dancers is the place.

The place I recommend is The Slippery Noodle blues joint on the corner of Meridian and South, right next to Union Station downtown. I'm sure they'll have some top performers that weekend.

www.slipperynoodle.com

EDIT:
Bonnie and Clyde's is a hopping club downtown.

Heard the Slippery Noodle is cool. Never been. They are going to close Meridian to anything but motorcycles on Friday and Saturday nights. nnjhawk02, pm me your email. I'll forward you an schedule of events that weekend around the city. I get a newsletter form the speedway. They are having a freestyle mx event Thursday night at Broadripple. It's more of a college bar scene.

Indy MOTOGP

We're going down early Thursday, so that we can do the paddock walk in the afternoon. From what I hear, it may be the only opportunity unless you are a guest of Tony G., Dorna, or your last name is Hayden.

Seats in Penthouse A. Where is everyone else sitting? I feel a poll coming on.
