good and bad

as most of you know i parted out my hawk due to the CCT's going and me not having the time to rebuild it the way i wanted too. sure i could have spent a weekend and prolly had it up and running again but i would have wanted to do pistons and atleast a hone while i was at it. i just have too many projects with the Mitsubishi eclipse im rebuilding an our second daughter and everything else. we are building a covered patio this summer and i just got our fence finished a week ago.

anyways the point im trying to make is MY NEW BIKE SHIPPED AND SHOULD BE HERE IN 7 TO 10 DAYS. PICS ON ARRIVAL. GAWD i cant hardly stand it.

hint, theres only 11 dealers in the U.S. for the brand of bike i bought.

honestly i really wanted an NR750. bit out of my price range though.
Ural? arent those the bikes in the Indiana Jones movies??

NOTE: wouldnt own a DUC if sumone gave it to me. (or a harley) though i did ponder a Buel with a rotax engine for a short time.

the brands is listed in a post but not one i could easily make a comment on.

the RC8 is dreamy, out of my price range, no on the laverda, none were easily sourceable.

the bike i got has a passenger area that actually gets fairly good reviews.

You went orange didn't ya?! If so I bet its a KTM SuperDuke.

EDIT - Wait nevermind I saw your post about it having good reviews on the passenger seat area lol. I know its no SD then. I rode one on a KTM demo day. AWESOME bike but I wouldn't give the seat any good review at all.

Yup I was thinking maybe it was a typo. 11 dealers makes for a rare breed of bike. Like Husaberg or something lol.

Maybe he bought a Hyosung eewww J/K

Like I said earlier, bet you it`s a Ural. The sidecars are said to be quite comfy, and that quality Russian engineering is very reasonably priced too...

VFR?

BTW, I didn't know that Laverda was still in production ... with girls like that perched on their bikes, they're sure to make it this time.

Ok, lets go about this scien... scifi... Well... Like the guys in white coats do...

It's not a Honda...
Ducati = "wouldnt own a DUC if sumone gave it to me."
Ural = " Ural? arent those the bikes in the Indiana Jones movies??"
Agusta = No ( to many dealers...)
Moto Morini =No (Only 7 dealers)
Bimota = Nope (only 13 dealers in the US)
Laverda = No
KTM = No (more than 11 dealers)
Aprilia = No (also more than 11 dealers)

Benelli = Probably, as they have exactly 11 dealers in the US...

So now the question is, what bike did they make that actually has a passenger seat?!

TNT or Tornado?

laverda is not in production. was bought by aprilia. then aprilia bought by piago. piago said they would sell rights to laverda if a buyer presented itself but they will not build using that brand name.

good job tweety, now which one from the other green teem? (the bike i got aint green though)

dont forget i mentioned about what i paid for it so that limits the bikes some what too.
