Sad that ND didn't show up. I was hoping for a better game than that. Of course, for Bama fans, I suppose it WAS a great game. I really have no dog in the fight though.

 

I have a friend that is all ga-ga for the SEC as well (Gator fan). I just don't get it. I'm passionate about my team (winningest college football program of all time), and I hate our rivals. I would NEVER wish that ohio school would win in the name of the Big10. I severely dislike Nebraska and PSU.
Ok, so I'm a Raider fan. The first team I want to lose in the play-offs...Denver.
Help me understand how you route for teams in your division, or conference, when they are hated enemies? Or don't you know what a bitter rivalry is?

And as far as he SEC is concerned, the argument I have with him goes like this... the SEC is very successful because kids today are a bunch of ****** that don't want to live in a cold climate.

 

The way we see it in the south is like we are all brothers sort of ,we beat each other up all the time but dont let some other kid do it or its on!!!
Thats the way it is we like family.

 

Understood. There's no understanding of BITTER rivalry (hated enemy). I guess you wouldn't "get" it unless you lived it.

 

Oh we get it alright, It's SEC or no one. Bitter enemy or not. And as far as the cold goes i say "Move".
