Are there any members familiar with the Getzville/Buffalo area and can make a recommendation for accommodations?

2 adults 2 kids 5 days, need quiet nightlife. No parties, no dogs, no craziness etc.

I second the AirBNB. lots available there. I'm in Rochester about an hour from there.

 

 

I appreciate all the help, I think I'm just going to stick with the hotel that my work provides. I try like hell to hotels and any place crowded, seems like a losing battle this time. Unfortunately I will be bikeless this time, I will have a minivan though, and that turns a respectable ET.

you don't like dogs? allergies or something?

 

By dogs I mean other peoples dogs. They're kind of like other peoples children...when well trained and quiet I can stand to be around them. Loud, unkempt, and otherwise annoying one's need an obedience school. Really it's the dog owners; you know the one..."I don't understand he's never bit anyone before! Or, oh yeah, he'll bark all night, ain't he cute!"
