My wife got an SV650S last October to replace her EX500. She was complaining that she had a hard time keeping up with me leaving stop lights, so I thought the SV would be perfect and it was. She loves it and has put 5500 miles on it. I added a Yoshimura slip-on right away, the stock muffler is too quiet. No remapping required, it runs great.

Hope your wife enjoys hers. Its a great bike.

Did you have to do any lowering? I'm probably going to buy 1.5" links and drop the front. She's on her toes on flat ground. There's a few other tweaks I need to make. Exhaust is high on the list. Then the carbs need sorted. It surges and carries on at cruise. Feels to lean or sync is out. It is a great bike. Great little engine and things don't happen quite so quickly as they do on the SH.
