Ebay/Paypal Hijack
Somehow I bought a pair of tix for the Colts-Giants game, but forgot about it. I'm watching plastic on ebay and noticed, otherwise I wouldn't have seen it for weeks or months.
I bought it on Ebay and paid with Paypal using credit card. I've disputed with Paypal and CC, changed ALL of my passwords, and asked the seller where they were sent. Didn't tell the seller it was fraud.
I'm stumped how they got my information. I NEVER respond to anything regarding ebay/paypal.

I recently found out someone was selling stuff on one of my 4 ebay accounts, they were passing the fee's on to me...nice...Ebay caught it, since I don't use that account much...and shut them down, refunded all of the fee's I had been charged, so I changed all of my pass words etc....
I was happy with how they handled it, but I agree, how did it happen?? As I never respond to the phising.....
Moral of the story is I guess we should change our pass words on a monthly or quartly basis....PITA but safer that way.....

nah, only thing I have is history kill....I thought about getting one of those so I can check up on what my kids are getting into, but haven't yet... Any suggestions??

Do you use a sniping service? I have checked all of the computers that I use and they are all clean. I'm beginning to think that the sniping service that I use was compromised.

I have had some real misgivings about what has been going on at Ebay for about the last year and a half. I too have been through the phishing stuff and I use Spybot whenever I think something is amiss. BUT I think this **** is coming out of Ebay itself. They're always glad to refund this or that but how many of us miss it and pay somebody else's bills without checking or monitoring? I'll bet a lot! I would use the classifieds on this forum anytime rather than go to Ebay.
