I missed Daytona (just watched it & was kinda boring).

But me & some friends were on the Samana Peninsular in a beach town called Las Terrenas (LT).

We drove a shity Kia rental (but at about $6. gallon for gas, glad we had small engine)

But about 20 kms from LT U have to cross over a small mountain range about 1k above the sea. But the roads are perfect wide, smooth & TWISTY.

If I decide to move there - I will set up an Isle of Mann RR, this would be real easy to do - red tape is non existent there.

Make sure U turn right - unless U want to ride into a cave

We rented some Quads - they're allowed on the streets. We rode them for 3 hrs & went to next town, about 20 kms away.

This was at the playa in LT where we stopped for a drink.

You think $6 a gallon is expensive? I'd classify that as cheap, but the perspective varies...

 

Not sure what U rich Sweds are used to, but I got think that its pretty expensive.
