to say, but I bought a second motorcycle today.
It's a 2001 Yamaha R1 with 16,xxx miles. It's in excellent mechanical condition, but could really use a paint job. I got it for $1800, which is $1000 below KBB trade in value, talk about a steal.
The guy I bought it from is living with another dude who's married to a pornstar. All I can say is wow...
Anyways, once I get my 'Hawk back up and running I'm gonna put it up for sale. I hate to sell it so soon, but these bikes scream to be completely customized, and that's not really what I want right now. It has manual CCTs, frame sliders, and exhaust with 40,xxx miles. What sounds like a reasonable price? It's a '98.
Until the point it's back together and sold, I'll still be schmoozing through the forum. If anyone on here is interested in my bike I'm in central OK.
Thanks to everyone who made this first bike of mine such a flying success. You guys have made all the difference in helping me become someone who knows the basics and a few ins-and-outs of motorcycles, and who feels confident about riding.
Oh and here's the new girl.

Attempting to justicify, a Frog SXXT green in-line four -to the group is pointless..
If you are putting it up for sale..
Then, that is the most noble thing you could do -is sell the bike to a rider that would appreciate a V-Twin...
The R1 would be more appropriate for straight line riding --- I have lived in OK. Nice flat roads....

Yea I'm not sure yet what I'm going to do with the R1. Having only driven it 20 or so miles, I can't attest to a whole lot about it, but it seems to handle with much more ease than the hawk, and It's a much more comfortable riding stance for me.
And I hate the color... The paint is chipping, so I have an excuse to repaint. I'm probably going to do a crimson since I go to OU. The green color is disgusting in my opinion.

My other bike is an I4 2003 Kawasaki Z1000. I put 26000 miles on it right till I bought the SH and now it's neglected. I have no issues in how many cylinders a bike has as long as it hauls my *** around.

Hahahahaha no my friend and I joked that we should have made a year membership to her site part of the deal.
This is the Wikipedia article on her.

Fortunately the owner gave me a stock black seat, so those alligator ones will be gone soon enough. The guy who painted the bike this color didn't do a very good job; it's chipping pretty badly so I'd have to repaint it even if I wanted to keep the color.
