Ambien / Lunesta ... lmao

Just wondering if any of you or your significant others take either of these. My wife and i both take it (her on a nightly basis, and me just when im wide awake after 10pm)

The side effects of this stuff are hilarious! (some of you might not agree...but...) My wife who is normally a semi-quiet person LOVES to talk about anything and everything when she is on Ambien. She gets up in the middle of the night and gets lost trying to find the bathroom (used to scare me, but now it cracks me up just to watch her). Her facial expressions have me finding it hard to breathe because im laughing so hard at her. No offense honey....

A friend of our was telling us this weekend about taking lunesta and waking up naked in a bed full of cheeze-its.

I can tell you from experience that it causes memory loss, and makes the body function even when the brain is nowhere to be found.

Anyone on this stuff and experiencing the same side effects?

No...but now you got me wanting to try it and definitely wanting the wife to try it... Maybe you have to have a different sense of humor but, that sounds hilarious.

Yeah, Homer took Napien, the one where the dove craps it into your mouth in the commercial. I thought they were just making a farce, apparently simpsons is on the money.

I've taken ambien in the past. No sides effects that I notice. Didn't wake up in anything weird. Just slept good those nights.

Ambien is getting a rep on the street 'cause of this. I'm not sure that I ever sleepwalked when I used to take it, but hell if it didn't give some very strange, wild-*** dreams...

I can attest to that. The dreams are insane and seem to go on for what feels like hours

about 4 months ago in may i had open heart surgeory to have a valve replaced. I was in the hospital for 6 days after. Those 6 nights were terrible. I was hooked up to tubers and gadgets , it was awful. Anyways, all that plus my nerves and the ridiculous fevers made it hard to sleep. So i had one of the drs prescribe me ambien. The first night i still kept waking up and told them i needed more so they gave me more. The next night... i guess i woke up, got out of bed, ripped my IV out breaking the plastic tube off in my vein and walked around the room and went to the bathroom. I remember coming to not long after and there being blood....... EVERYWHERE! Im on blood thinners for life so i bleed like crazy. It wasnt quite murder scene blood, but it was bad. Anyways i remember picking up the call button and telling the nurse that someone got blood all over my room and they needed to come clean it up. What a terrible night. I went to sleep after that, the next thing i remember , im on the edge of the bed with alarms going off and the nurses come running in. apparently i tried to get out of bed again and they had set an alarm. What a terrible night. and i never took ambien again......

wow! that blows. synthetic or pig? take these instead. all over the counter, very well tested for safety, not very expensive. 5-hydroxytryptophan (5-HTP) , diphenhydramine (generic benedryl) and melatonin. all three together are as effective for me as Ambien w/out the side effects.

Holy crap! Thats got to be the craziest story ive heard of someone being on ambien! I was talking to a friend today about it. he used to bartend at a casino down here and said 2 cocktail waitresses left from thier shift and came back about 3 hours later... both in thier pajamas, completely zoned out of thier minds. they left and when they came in the next day, didnt remember any of it... now driving while on that stuff is insane... but you ripping an IV out and having blood everywhere...

I use to take a full Ambien, until one morning I woke up on the living room floor with chips and food all around me and the TV still on. Apparently I scared the wife and kid with my bizarre behavior that night to the point where they left me alone and slept behind locked doors - all of which I have absolutely no memory. Now I just take a half dose with a glass or two of Vodka and lime juice on the rocks.

I spend zero dollars a year on drug company products, not common with 59 year olds. Just eat right and exercise a lot.
