well i just won this thing for $272 + shipping ... hope it goes on easy :-)

and in the right color even .... think it is going to look sweeeeeet

 

may sell soon on here for a decent price if i dont like the look ... if i do like the look a stock tail section will be for sale soon :-)

ok so i am finally putting this thing on the bike and damn i dunno what i am doing lol

this thing has no way of screwing the trail light in, and does not have any type of storage at all for the battery

i am sooo lost i really wanted to get this done today as i am planning a mena ride tommorrow :-(

Well I belive you are supposed to use the stock fender unit/battery box and just cut it off to fit this over it...

 

damn i hadnt planned any cutting into this project ......


there inst any type of mount to hold the tailight in place either .....

i am pretty close to just putting the old stuff back on and selling this thing if i cant figure it out

 

Well Im assuming that your Hawk is yellow. If you do in fact keep the Euro Tail, I call dibs on the rear cowl.. Mine has a broken tab and broken tail light mount!

 

one of them will def be getting sold ;-)

just not sure which one ... looks like i have to fabricate some kind of a mount for the tailight ...i almost have it back together but it will be a while till she is rideable if i have to fabricate .... damn it cleans up the back end nicely though
