hmmm, I have no need for it what so ever, then again it's 60 minutes away. For you guys that have done engine builds what's the cheapest you think it can be done assuming hc pistons and some sort of cams.

JE pistons can be had on eBay for under $250. Cams are another matter, however, as they are quite difficult to find. One possible option would be to use a set of exhaust cams for the intake (seem to recall the exh. cam was fairly close in spec to the Mori and Yosh intake cams). Apparently this ia common pactice on earlier SV650s....

This is the chap who designed the billet velocity stacks we had made (copied) last year. He is also a distributor for Moriwaki (as is Revolution Racing in the UK). Some Mori bits can still be had, but they are $$$$$$
