The dude selling this is dreaming. He has a bunch of nice stuff for the VTR (Ohlins shock, MOriwaki lower,...) but teh prices he is asking are insane, which expalins why they are still for sale many months later.

FYI, I picked up a mint full Akra system (titanium cans, a better choice on a V-twin) for a significant amount less than he is asking (must admit the purchase was somewhat eventful, however). While these are becoming hard to find, there are still a few around and I recall finding a few places that were offering decent discounts on brand new ones.

my motor is stock, it would be cool bling but mechanically pretty worthless.

Oh please $500 for a used tank with scratches?! $500 for used rearsets? I think we're being quite polite considering. I mean if you want the good stuff and can afford to pay the premium for it God bless you. But once you go to sell it and try to get your money back good luck... I don't know if he's just showing off or what. The stuff is realistically worth half of what he's asking if he were actually serious about selling it.

Agreed! The guy is asking for new prices for used parts. Desirable parts but really! Carbon Fiber cans on a Superhawk have a lifespan. Period! They're going to lose to the vibes.

When it comes to performance upgrades to the Superhawk's power delivery you have to learn how to stoke the furnace before you worry about the chimney.
