Hi everyone! I have a VTR 1000 for sale, and was wondering if anyone on this forum would be interested? It has a clean title, and runs beautifully. I would love to ask for 4,500. It has just under 10,000 miles. Let me know if anyone wants to buy one!

Call me crazy but perhaps a LITTLE more effort on your part might help your cause. Write up at least a minimal description. List the condition, mileage, price... It's usually pretty favorable to wash it before taking multiple pics. Location? Clean title? Does it run? What does it need... Help yourself out a little. Best of luck with your sale.

Fasure, what is he thinking?
Is not it a forum rule to at least list a price?
Also is a new member even allowed to sell anything without posting up a minimum number of times?

if someone wants to know more about the bike, then they can ask. I have this listed everywhere, this forum was not my first thought. I figured someone on this page might be interested, and if they are, i am more then willing to tell them all about the bike.

OK, I'll bite; How many miles, any extras, any service history, how many owners, has it ever been down, what price are you asking
It has 9,237 miles, it has a clean title, it has had 3 owners including me, I asked the last owner about any accidents, and he said it has not taken any spills. I forgot to ask the last owner about service records, and I was hoping to get 4,500 out of the bike! Let me know if you want to come and see it, I dont believe it has any extras.
I live in washington sate, i dont know if this forum is country wide, so if that's a problem, just let me know!

Nice, that's low mileage for sure. Just for reference, I recently bought a cream puff 85xxmi '03 with lots of extras and a meticulous service history for $4200. Can't tell from the pic you shared but if it is minty fresh, I don't think you are too far off on ask. You just need the right buyer, which can be kinda hard to find. I wish you luck in your sale and thanks for stopping into the forum.

LOL great attitude. Friend I could care less if you sell it or not, I'm trying to help you out. You're asking what I'd consider top dollar for a Superhawk, (one with 346 miles on it sold a year or so ago on Ebay for $3,400) least you could do is wash it. This is what a 9XXX mile Superhawk should look like. And honestly I'd blow someone if they gave me $4,500 for it... Like I said best of luck with your sale, sounds like you've done this before...
In my defense I did just sell the FZR1000 a few days ago and the only inappropriate contact required in that transaction was hooking up a trailer hitch to my 334k mile Toyota
I'm going to pass on the BJ cause I don't have room for another SuperHawk right now. Thanks for the offer, Cap'n. You're a good man and may not be a good salesman, but no one can question your dedication.
