1997 xr400 tard

caught my eye...what do you guys suppose it's worth in this trim? about 80 miles from my house. i've always wanted a tard i know it'll be no rocketship but the reliability is there. hot cam exhaust...anyhow any idea on what its worth/opinions

Well those old aircooled bikes aren't going to have the power of a newer one.. But I am sure it would still be fun.

I wouldn't pay more than $2000 for that. Its 13 years old. You could buy a much newer dirtbike and convert it to a supermoto for 2500-3000ish.

I bought a 2005 DRZ400sm for 3500 and had a hard time selling it for 3000 a couple months later.

They are hard machines to sell... so keep that in mind. I now wish i had just bought a drz400s for cheap and converted it myself. woulda saved a grand.
