WTB High mount exhaust

Looking for a High mount exhaust for my Superhawk.

Have Jardines but the packing is blown out and they are too loud with no tone.

Looking for something with a little tone.

PM me if you have anything.

Thanks!

Just a thought...repacking isn't all that difficult if you can get the end caps off. I'd give that a try while you are searching. Supposedly a tightly packed can makes more power than a blown out one as an added bonus.

I'd repack them--can't think any brand that looks as good as those black shiny Jardines

Sent you a PM on these if you want something different.

Honda VTR1000F Superhawk Leovince High Mount Slip on Exhaust Mufflers VTR 1000 | eBay

I can make you a better deal through the forum since we can bypass the fees. But as as said and as I've said before I love to sell my crap but a repack is fairly straightforward and cheap-drill out the rivets, maybe a little penetrating oil on the endcaps along with a rubber mallet (I prefer the red rubber side of a smaller 2 headed craftsman type mallet) and some patience and you're in business. A pair of repack kits (some tape or wire helps compress it enough to ease slipping it back into the canister), some latex gloves, and some rivets and you're in business. Anyhow either way let me know I'd be glad to help with either the repack or the LeoVinces.

Guys thanks for all the replies. I will start with a re pack for now. Like the look but they're clearly in need of some work.

What do you guys use for packing material?

The cycle parts dealer of your choice will have muffler re-packing kits. Moose makes a lot of different kits, I'm sure there are others.

I recently used a pillow pack repack kit on my YZ125. I think it was by Moose? It was super cheap, and it worked really well! It went in super easy, with no mess or tape required.

Exhaust

Been traveling for work so haven't been able to do anything yet. Ordered some repack kits and a rivet gun to do the job. I'll report back when it's finished.
